Senior Research Scientist in the High Peformance Computing (HPC) group focusing on Parallel Computing research. I joined the HPC group at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in 2002. Key developer of Global Arrays (GA), a portable shared memory parallel programming toolkit used in scalable scientific applications and other areas, and ARMCI runtime system, a portable high performance remote memory access communication interface. ARMCI has been used for implementation of the Co-Array Fortran compiler at Rice University, and a portable implementation of SHMEM, the popular one-sided communication library developed by Cray Supercomputers, Inc. Have authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed conference and journal papers in the High Performance Computing area.
